“I grew up in Plano, Texas where I then moved to Austin to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. From there, I then completed my Medical Degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX.I developed a desire to become a child neurologist while completing a pediatrics residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I decided to come back to my beloved Texas and train in child neurology at the University of Texas at Southwestern in Dallas. There I learned to care for children with several different neurologic conditions such as epilepsy, autism, developmental delay and cerebral palsy.

From 2017-2018 I completed a specialty fellowship in treating more chronic symptoms related to headache and concussion. I am now proficient in performing Botox injections for chronic migraine treatment as well as nerve blocks to help relieve other kinds of head pain. I am excited that my wife, children and I have the opportunity to stay close to our families. I am thrilled to be working with such a great group of physicians at Texas Child Neurology!”
